2012 Penn State Rugby Summer Camps
University Park, PA- With both the men’s and women’s programs headed into the playoffs, the women to the Sweet 16 and the men set in for the D1-A playoff bracket, the Penn State Rugby program is pleased to announce June 23rd through the 30th as the dates for their 2012 Penn State Summer Rugby Camps.

Doylestown U13 Boys Win Against Media
In the anticipated U13 match between the Media Boys and Doylestown, the Doylestown boys opened the scoring with some quality rucking and ball presentation from the forwards, which provided the ball cleanly to the Doylestown backs.

15 Teams Invited to 2012 Collegiate Rugby 7s in Chester
USA Sevens LLC has named the 15 collegiate 7s programs invited to the third annual USA 7s Collegiate Rugby Championship Invitational, scheduled for June 2&3, 2012. The tournament will once again be held in the EPRU at PPL Park in Chester, PA.

Temple Rugby has a Secret Weapon
After a less than stellar showing last year at the CRC, Temple Rugby is taking their 2012 trip to the national invitational tournament more seriously. They will be 'loaded for bear' this year ... or at least for Pokey.

Downingtown Wins Battle for the Brandywine
This year’s “Battle for the Brandywine” ended up looking as if both teams had gone swimming in the river instead of playing rugby yesterday. Soggy conditions and driving rain were the order of the day as Downingtown kicked off against divisional rival Unionville. (see EPRU Girls league standings)

Read more »PumpkinFest Women's Tournament CANCELED
Philadelphia Women's Rugby Club is sad to announce we will not be hosting Pumpkinfest in 2012. Since the restructuring of women's club rugby in 2006 and the advent of the WPL in 2009, the nature of Pumpkinfest has transformed over the years. Unfortunately, PWRFC has determined that a women's 15s tournament in Fall 2012 is not feasible.
The club will reassess the goals of and the need for a Fall 15s tournament and will make a judgement on Fall 2013 in the coming months.
