July 10-15 East Stroudsburg Rugby Camp - 15s and 7s REGISTER NOW
EAST STROUDSBURG, PA- In its eleventh year and running from July 10th through July 15th, the East Stroudsburg Rugby Player Development Camp is pleased to announce a new 7’s Camp in addition to their traditional camp. Registration has also been expanded to include junior high students, as well as high school and college males and females.

Delaware, St. John’s College Prep and Hempfield win at the Subaru Sevens
Twenty-eight teams traveled to Wilmington, Delaware for the 11th Annual Subaru 7s Tournament sponsored by the Delaware Rugby Foundation (DRF). The tournament was featured as the EPRU Match of the Week.

Attention all Boys and Girls HS Players! You can win full tuition to attend the Rugby Development Camp at East Stroudsburg University in July. Just complete the Application Form (link below) and write an essay on the subject "Why I Should Be Chosen to Attend the Camp and What I Hope to Learn." Essays will be judged by selected members of the EPRU Executive Committee and the four winners will be announced on or about June 25th.
The Application Form and essay must be mailed to EPRU, PO Box 393, Exton, PA 19341 BY JUNE 18, 2012.

CRC 7s to Remain in the EPRU at PPL Park
NBC SPORTS and USA Sevens officials see big things for the future of the Collegiate Rugby Championship, and they say that begins with the stability provided by a multiyear agreement with PPL Park.
Over the weekend, officials announced an agreement to extend the tournament’s stay on the Chester waterfront through 2014. PPL Park, home of the Philadelphia Union, has hosted the event for the last 2 years after the inaugural event was held at Columbus (Ohio) Crew Stadium.

Invites to the MARFU 7s Invitational Camp will be based on performance at the MARFU 7s Women's Open Camp as well as play during the summer Club 7s season. Following Invitational Camp, 12 players will be selected to attend the NASC "National All-Star Conference" on August 17th-19th, 2012, location TBD.

Match of the Week: Lehigh Valley Rugby Football Club Summer 7s Tournament
For this week's Match of the Week the EPRU has chosen the 39th Annual Lehigh Valley Rugby Football Club Summer 7s Tournament.
The tournament will be held this Saturday, June 9th, 2012 from 8:45am-6:30pm at Monocacy Park on Schoenersville Rd. Thirty-eight Men’s and Women’s teams will be participating in 81 Matches.

Philadelphia Whitemarsh Brings Home the Silver
Philadelphia Whitemarsh RFC fell one game short of a perfect season and a national championship. After an amazing second half comeback on Saturday propelled PW past the South Bay Rhinos (CA) by a score of 50-26, and into the USA Rugby Championship Series DIII National Championship Game, they fell to New Orleans RFC (LA) in the final on Sunday, 36-20.
