The Origins of Phoenixville White Horse Women's RFC

Don't let the short time span this club has been in existence fool you, they already have a lot of success in the past three years. The Phoenixville White Horse Women's RFC won back to back Division 3 MAC Championships in 2014 and 2015. After that, they moved up to Division 2 the following year. 

They are considered one of the top women's rugby club in Chester and Montgomery County. This is in part to their recruiting efforts. In the past 2 years, they were the 18th quickest growing rugby clubs in the entire United States. 

White Horse Women's RFC Featured Article in The Mercury

A featured article in the local news website, The Mercury, discussed the origins of the Phoenixville White Horse Women's RFC. It all began with a simple sign-up sheet hung on the wall in the local social club. The team began practicing in the Spring of 2014. In their first division match up, they were able to defeat the Northeast Philadelphia Irish RFC with a score of 20-12.
