Steve Cohen Retires as EPRU President - new President Elected After 4 years as EPRU President, 5 years as Vice President, and many years prior as Men's Collegiate Coordinator, Steve Cohen has chosen to 'kick back' and enjoy just refereeing, organizing MARS Golden Oldies rugby tours and the National Small College Rugby Organization (www.nscro.org) King of Prussia, PA - At the East Penn Rugby Union meeting on September 16th, Joe Grohovsky, current coach of the Hibernian Men's RFC and C-2 referee, was elected to succeed Steve. He has big shoes to fill as those you who have worked with Steve over years know.
Other officers elected were:
Frank Lentz, Vice President
Brad Allen, Treasurer
Dana Bateman, Secretary
A new VP-Compliance position was created to assure that the Union meets all government and administrative requirements that a non-profit organization is subject to. Ari Christakis, Esq. was elected to fill this office.
In addition, the new Board of Directors was elected. They are: Kristin Aliberto, Tracy Artus, Mike Callahan, Dan Dohony, Bill Gregory, Joe Grohovsky, Curt Gruber, Greg Karabin, Frank Lentz, Kevin Lynott, Larry McManus, Alan Matas, Len Reinhart and Tim White.
