EPRU Boys High School All Stars are Getting Ready for Action District All Star Championships in Hempfield, PA. The EPRU Boys High School All Stars, under new Coach Ray McGettigan (Shippensburg), will travel to western Pennsylvania on June 21-22 for the Potomac Rugby Foundation LAU Challenge Cup. The Challenge Cup, switching locations this year from Baltimore to the Harlequins Founders Field Complex, is the pre-eminent summer All Star event in the East. Ray and his staff will select a team for this event the week before on June 14th.
On June 14th, the EPRU will hold the District All Star Championships in Hempfield, PA. The four high school District All Star Teams (Northeast, Southern, Susquehanna and Brandywine) will compete that day to determine the District Team Champion.
During the competition, Coach McGettigan and his staff will make their selections for the EPRU All Stars that will play in the Cup Challenge the following weekend.
